Default Hot Engine Bay Temp

is there any way to reduce the engine bay temp? my cooling system is fine and everything else is operating correctly, including the rad and ac fans. the bay gets hot enough to where it burns my fingers to open the hood. my turbo rsx feels cooler after nonstop boosting than my stock 95 ls auto integra.

i was thinking of adding an oil cooler and running a 185 degree oil thermostat to help maintain a decent oil temp, assuming it will lower engine bay temp, but the idea of not having all my oil filtered and reducing oil pressure bugs me.

You can try looking into the invader hood. Its hole is right above the header.

most aftermarket hoods arent too aesthetically appealing imo. that would definitely help my situation but id rather not take that route

Small radiator = gap in bumper? Excuse for airflow?

smaller radiator = less cooling efficiency. not worth the 1whp id gain in airflow lol

realistically, those two seem to be my only options =/

ur not to bright... maybe hood spacers to vent ur hood, and the small duel core radiator is more efficient then any factory honda/acura unit

so apparently being uneducated on the subject of small radiators has to do with not being intelligent? thanks for enlightening me on the subject but i still dont see what that has to do with being "bright." hood spacers still look ghetto and ill look into those "duel" core radiators ib4yousayitsatypo

In all fairness.. You could have looked into the dual core radiator before saying what you said at first.

the half rads people use in turbo applications are not dual core, they are 3 and 4 core radiators
