My clutch feels really funny under my foot when i shift. Also it is hard for me to put it into gear sometimes. After i drive around for a little bit, once i try to start the car kind of hops and shakes until i get going fast enough. Any ideas?

 

my buddy girl down shifted once without reving the engine up properly and popped a load spring on the clutch, not letting her shift into gear when the car was driven for a short distance. did someone not downshift right??

Describe the funny feeling. Does it engage close to the floor or at the proper height? What year (is it a hydraulic clutch)? It might be as simple as needing to bleed air out of the clutch system or even sloppy hinges on the pedal itself.

 

It is hard shifting at high rpms... it might have been the spring because other people drive my car when i am too drunk but idk.. how do i bleed the air out... not too great with engines

 

sounds like one of the springs popped....sounds like many others with the same problem....

 

new clutch

 

i would get a lightend flywheel. depends on what mods you have, but you really cant go wrong with a CM stage 3 and lightned flywheel. cheep and will be able to handle just about any mods you do to it. its good for about 300hp i think
