Hit a curb
last week there was a pretty big snow storm in minnesota. i lost control and the rear-right wheel parallely hit a curb. the wheel does not seem visibly bent ouf of position. now, whenever i'm going over 60mph+, the road noise is louder, like a revolving hum. i'm thinking the bearings are possibly shattered. anyone else have an idea what could have been damaged? i'll have a mechanic look at it next week.
try driving over 60+ for like 10 min. it will prob go away i did that in my winter car and i was on the highway and like 10 min later it was gone and never came back.
if u can get it up on a lift and check your control arms and everything else make sure they match both sides and see if u can tell if anything is bent. after that big storm there were 3 cars in out autoshop that had bent control arms. you can see if its bent so take a look. best of luck.
that happen to me in the snow come to find out i lost a wheel mount or magnet mount so when i hit the curb the wheel been unbalaced so it cost like 10 bucks to get the wheels balanced again i think thats your problem t worth looking in to
