I opened up my engine today to replace the piston ring due to leaks on mostly all the cylinder and it would not pass smog. I am replaceing my piston rings, clutch and possibly valves. Since the engine is already out, i would like to raise my compression to about 11:1 ( since Im planing on adding Sunk 2 IM and stage 1 cams later on after the smog). WOULD RAISING THE COMPRESSION THAT HIGH AFFECT SMOG? I think that it wont but i just want to verify it.
