high flow cat
I'm trying to keep my car legal. Is there a big difference in running a high flow cat compaired to the stock cat? Motor is a b18c1 port and polish head, skunk 2 valve train, type r pistons, and block was honed. I know i'm not going to be getting an extra 50hp but is it worth all the money. I am getting a type-r header and a cat back exhaust, megan probably. Or could i make the type r cat work, is it the same as a gsr? any info would help.

lol ...what are you talking about?
To the OP:
If your setup was a salsa...it would probably be a medium/mild. lol (im not making fun of you, its a nice set up). At this point, you probably wont see too much of a gain from a high flow cat. You might see a couple of horsepower if that. However, sometimes high flow cats cause the CEL to come on on OBD2 cars.
The stock cat is not very restrictive. However, it does have a small diameter. The JDM ITR uses a 2.5'' cat. You could use that but you'd have to buy a clockable flange and reclock your exhaust. The S2000 uses a high flow cat from the factory. I dont know if this would fit onto an integra without modification, though.
Glad you're leaving your cat on.
