Default HID question

what seems to be the best as far as ouput goes? 5000k 4800K etc.

if you have pics that would help too. what is a good price for a used set ballasts and bulbs. was told it was "plug and play"

4100k/4300k Retro fits.. I think plug an play kits suck...... goto HIDFOURM....alot of people that are knowledgable.. there..

Seems to be that 4300k puts out the most amount of Lumens and will show more true light onto the ground.

We probably don't get the full effect out of them with out projector setup, but if you swapped with some Audi or S2k projectors you might find the setup better.


There have been some write-ups on here about them, and also, check out hidforum.com

I've got the 7000k (violet color) HID kit, and even though the amount of Lumens isn't the same as the 4300k kit, they are a hell of a lot brighter than halogen bulbs and I like hte purple look!
