HID question
Planning to get HID soon...but i'm wonder what i need for some good HID. I heard that it's not recommended to use stock lense because it dont output as good as specially made HID lense. is that true? where can i get a good HID kit and lense?
I got my HID conversion kit from http://www.XenonDepot.com
Everything you'll need comes with the kit. I got mine for $420 shipped, 4100k.
I'm not sure about those lenses, but I get some great output from the light, just need to adjust my headlights, it's pointed too low.

A proper HID lens will have a sharper cutoff and better light dispersion pattern - If you search theres a whole bunch of topics.
For a good conversion, check SkaFia's webpage (look him up here) as he has modified an Audi A6 Projector lens to fit the integra.
I'm currently running Phillips 4300k HID and its gourgeous on stock lenses.
Many lenses and kits can also be purchased off Ebay (Audi A6 projector with hella ballasts usually)

I used to have an HID kit in my stock projectors, and while it was better than stock halogen, it was nothing compared to my OEM HID bi-xenon projectors I have now. The best places to find parts for an OEM HID retrofit is http://www.hidtech.com or ebay.
you can buy an aftermarket kit with hid bulbs that have been rebased with 9006 bases so they will work in an integra, but the quality and reliability is not there.
your integra has projectors that were designed for halogen bulbs and it will look ok if you just buy an aftermarket kit. But if you have a problem with a bulb it may be difficult to find one that will match your other one so you will have to buy another pair with again questionable reliability. I suggest retrofitting real oem hid projectors into your integra housings. Audi tt ones are the smallest and easiest to fit in. I bought an aftermarket kit which was alright but first a bulb blew and then a ballast blew and it was cheaper to buy a whole other kit. Then I retrofitted ecode audi tt projectors in place of my stock ones and used some oem ballasts with phillips 4300k bulbs and the light output is incredible. http://www.skafia.com
is a good site for help and also http://www.hidtech.com, http://www.lighting-illusions.com, and
http://www.hidforum.com are great places to get you started. I bought my projectors on ebay and the ballasts and bulbs from hidtech. They were helpful and had great service and shipping.
