Default HID question

If I get a 4300K Phillips HID kit for my teg do I need to use different headlight housings? I've heard that you need to run projector headlights when using an HID kit. I have 2001 headlights..

Thanks,

Danny

http://www.ebay.com just go there get a reputable kit i.e. mcculloch phillips, techone ect.... and make sure it will fit the teg lights. i think it is 9006 i bought some brand new for like $200 from some dude and they work fine and look great.
