dont go lower either.lol seriously i wouldnt get 4300k but its all you. i would go 5 lowest. i might put those as my highs now that i think about it.
Just get Silverstars light bulbs they are not as good as HID but are very bright and create a very clean white light , they give you much better visibility and yeah they are very bright you can see them clearly from miles awy
Thats what I have now. They were $44 with tax for the pair. And I actually have them for my dims and highs. VERY pleased with my highs! I just need more for my dims.
Alota people say not to use your highs or that its rude. Well I live in the country in Louisiana where there are narrow, hilly, and winding roads with a **** load of deer runnin around! So brights are a MUST!

The real deal H.I.D. conversion is more than worth it, this guy down the street from me has a 96 ls DC and it looks pretty clean you have to rewire some stuff and i don't know how to do all of it, but its way better than your stock setup...
so one vote for H.I.D.'s

x2. If talking about retrofitted headlights, there is a "HID Retrofit Club" thread right here on Honda-Tech actually, where you can see pictures of retrofitted headlights. Here's a few of my friend's EG after he got his done.

My 9005 & 9006 Silverstars are good enough.
If you want more, go with the 9011 HIR1 and 9012 HIR2 bulbs.
The main thing to do, is make sure you have your headlights adjusted correctly.
When you lower your car, adjust your headlights a little higher.
Just enough that you don't blind oncoming traffic with them.

Someones been diggin haven't they?
That setup will probably cost you (average going rates):
D2S bulbs (phillips) - $80
TSX Projectors (Clear lens) - $200
Plug n Play Ballasts & Ignitor (pick your brand) - $170
Retrofit hardware/etc - $5
Labor - $180
Light housings (if you don't have cores) $150-$200
Total = $785
Now if you shop around and find better deals, your better off that way. If you've got money and just want a retrofitted setup, hit me up. I'll be glad to do one for you. I've got 3 TSX retrofits under my belt. Hit me up if your interested.

if his headlights are built for it, why would you vote no? That doesn't make sense. PnP are inexpensive and are brighter then stock. I say get em since his car is just a daily and he doesn't want to put too much money into it. Its not like integras come with reflector headlights.
if any one get hid conversions...please do the rest of us non-ricer a favor and don't go with the 10k or 12k hids...it's just too gay and ricey...gives the rest of us guys a bad image...so stick with 4.5k or 5k....you see better any ways...i don't to see purple or green HIDs driving around
Not sure if they came out of an Audi or not. Heres the parts detail from the article
- (2) E55/Maxima Projectors
- (2) ballasts/igniters
- (2) D2S bulbs
- Dremel (heavy duty cutting wheel, grinders)
- Butter knife, thin flat head screw driver
- Drill
- 8 bolts and nuts (size depends on the projectors' mounting holes)
- Matching washers
- Matching locking washers
- All weather sealant
- Spare headlights (optional)
- Flat black paint (optional)
- HID Harness (optional, but I would advise not go on without it)
- 14-12 gauge wire
- (3) inline fuse holders
- 30 Amp fuse, (2) 15 Amp fuses
- (1) 1N4005 diode, (1) 1N5404 diode
- Old 9006 bulbs to be used for connector (optional
edit: Im guessing if it says Maxima Projectors there from a maxima.
