Well if you were thinking about a JRSC for an LS I probably wouldn't go that route. Jackson will not be making them anymore. I heard something like they have the last 6 casings and no more after that. Anything more than 9-10 psi out of a jackson without water injection would be running unsafe. They generate a lot of heat and are not big enough to make a lot of power. It will be very hard to make 250whp out of a JRSC ls.
As for top fulers. If they were running turbos they could probably make more power. But I would imagine they would be less consistent. Besides those would have to be pretty stout turbos to handle that 5000 degree exhaust heat. And as soon as they peddled the throttle they would probably lose boost which is a bad thing.
As popularity goes everyone will say turbo. Hell I'm supercharged and I would reccomend turbo for your set up. Go with what you like though. As for everyone saying supercharges are weak sauce. Maybe so but my car seems to run pretty good. And reliable as well. Turbos make for a pain in the a$$ and I love my AC/PS to much toget rid of it for a car thats half a second faster and makes a cool swoosh sound when I shift it.

You don't need to get rid of ac/ps to go turbo and not to mention it is probably more reliable. It's all about tuning. The supercharger works on a system of belts and pulleys. It's easier for a belt to wear out than something going wrong with the turbo. Plus the supercharger is always boosting as wtih a turbo you don't have to drive it into boost.

Actually the supercharger is not always boosting. It has a bypass valve. At least mine does. And every other jackson supercharger Ive seen on a honda. Besides how often do you have to replace belts? They last for years.

Your little bitch is fine and dandy. Too bad I can't say the same about your little heater hose. Way to go stretch nuts. Wanna race? Anytime. Wheres that turbo? Then we can answer this question about turbo vs supercharger.
