I just meant that anything that leaves the block exposed doesn't seem safe, even if air is pushing out. But yeah, you could try it on a gravelly road and tell me if it helps your quarter mile time...

You have a greater chance of bending a valve this way. Don't do it.

like everyone else said you will definitely gain some top end with the sacrifice of low-end.. i wouldnt suggest it because you'd be lettin too much heat out under you car and engine bay... lets say a good couple hundred degrees .. which is defeating the purpose of having exhaust systems. in which exhaust systems are meant to redirect exhaust gas to the back of the car instead of the engine bay with alot of other electrical components and so on. and IMO the car sounds like ****

not to mention it won't smell too nice either. when i was runnning a hollowed cat, i couldn't bare the smell.

running a tenths of a second better isn't worth f-in up the enviorment anyhow. just gut your car and try to better r.t.
