Help? what to get, plus a problem?
First of i have a 97 GSR.. and while idleing it get's stuck at up to 3,200 rpm's. but the weird thing is as im coming to a stop if i throw a rev it will drop down. Does anyone know what i can do too fix this. my uncle suggested getting a throttle postion sensor. but i called the acura dealer and they said i can only buy the whole throttle body which is 750.00 dollers.
also i have about 1,200 dollers to spend on my car. what should i get to improve 1/4 miles times.

as for the high idle... it could be your tps sensor or your iacv.. it could also be a vaccuum leak. And honda will tell you that you have to buy a new throttle body but you can find a used tps sensor and replace it yourself by cutting notches in the little rivet thingies and backing them out ( they are threaded).
as for what to get with 1200 bucks.. if you just want speed id go turbo.. but if your smart youd spend it beefing up the motor to handle the boost first.. but you can get a turbo kit for 1200 and run 8-10 psi and get a good HP gain.

replace the tps before you start replacing the throttle body
