My mechanic tells me I can use my LS ECU with a Apexi V-afc controller to control the Vtec on a Ls/Vtec....Some people are telling me I cant...but he swares I can...he has a 01 Type -R and he runs his own shop...built up his own car...Whats goin on !?!?

 

Its possible but another ecu would be better. The redline, fuel, and ignition curves are all different for a vtec engine.
