help!! vetc problems

on a 98 gsr, what can cause the vetc dont kick in, or weak vetc. ( even weaker than a b16 ), is difference in sounds?

vtec on a gsr engages at 4400rpm and is not as noticeable as on a b16. it has a very smooth transition.

if your car is stock than you probably cant hear it or only slightly. dont change where it engages or anything because i bet youre going to ask that next.
