Help! Throwing knock sensor code on obd0 b16a in my DA
Ok, here's the deal. I bought my DA last summer, it has been throwing a code 23 (knock sensor) since then. Vtec still engages, but the car doesn't seem as quick as it should be. I'm running a obd0 b16a motor. I didn't do the swap... the guy before me did.
The code doesn't get thrown until the car warms up. Once the car gets warm, when I give it steady gas, the car bogs down a bit. If I increase the gas, it's fine. When the car is cold, this problem doesn't occur. I'm currently running a pr3 ecu. Would the knock sensor cause my car to bog like this, or is there another problem at hand?

I was under the impression you need to connect the knock in order for vtec to activate unless its chipped.
I wonder if you have ur secondary o2 in place of the knock.
Worse comes to worse , directly pin the knock into the ecu. The pin outs are everywhere......
Check your wiring and your plugs connection first of course....

Alright, I'm going to check everything out either Thursday or Friday... but my main question is about the bogging. Does anyone else have this problem while throwing the ks code?
