ok should i just pay the fine? or go thro state ref

i have a jdm 94 gsr motor in a 96ls! will it even pass?

i took the decibel test and passed, now i had to scheudle another appointment with him. but someone told me that its not worth it, if i fail because the motor is in a illegal car becuase its an older motor what would happen if he put that down? i dont kno what to do. If i fail i would still pay a fine anyways right?

on the ticket it doesnt say i have to be in court, just to drop off the paper work of the exhaust fix it ticket and the smog test thats if i pass, drop it off to a clerk pay court fee and im done. how do i find out if i can just pay the fine so that they dont kno i have an illegal motor. Only in the state of ca all these bullshit emissions laws. My car can pass smog, it has everything carb legal but because its an older motor i cant pass thro ref? yet civics crx's can have b16's and b20's by getting bard. and i cant even put an integra motor in a integra. [freak]ing bull shittt!@

 

california ftmfl. i pitty you guys out there. that **** must suck. all i have in pa is a visual. some counties do an emissions, but not very many. i don't know what to tell you. now you asked if you should pay the fine or go through ref. can you get away with just paying a fine? or do you still have to go through ref anyway?

well if i fail the state ref, i have to pay the fine anyway. i dont kno how much the fine isbecause they put down mod emissions, beause of my headers. so its a vague term. so im probably assuming its gonna be alot.
