Check your fuses and make sure they are ok. If that doesn't work then take the door panel apart and clean the main switch. Clean the metal contacts on it. Did you smell any burning while you were driving before it went out? hope I helped.

wow you smelled burning? That sucks that means either one or both of your motors are blown/burned. Theres a way to check if the motor is still good. It involves running wires on where the motor connects to the switch. I'm not too sure. I'll try and get back with a more clear explanation later.

ok heres the thing. i have an alarm that can roll up or down the windows. when i use my alarm the windows still work. its just that while im in the car trying to use the switches that it wont do anything. so if the alarm still rolls the windows up and down it shouldnt be the motor right? thanks

um i had the same problem. i just took the door panel off, checked out all the wires... turns out it was something as simple as one of the wires not having a good connection..

i just dont get why people go spending all this money replacing all this **** when they think something is broken before they even figure out what's wrong..??? especially for somethin like pissing 35 bucks out the window for a relay for a damn power window when u dont even know if that's the problem... next time just give me the 35 bucks

ok if i knew what the problem was i wouldnt be asking. only way to find out problem is check everything. so far its not the fuses nor the relay. can u help if not then your posts are worthless.

I would check the connections for everything, especially becuase you have the remote windows hooked up. More likely than not one or more connection are just bad. Also, does the place where you purchased the alarm have any warrenty on installation. Where I had mine installed offers a lifetime warr. Check it out... if all of that fails pull the motor and hook it up dirrect to a battery to see if it works. Best of luck man!
