okay here goes what happend.

i was changing my starter But forgot to Unplug my battery and When i was i going to bolt the positive side up the the starter accidently brushed it across the negative side i thought it was nothing so i put everything back on and i went to Start it up and there was no power, so i thought battery was dead so i tried to jump start but
i still have No power at All . None in the cluster. only thing that works is the headlights climate control. i was told to check every Fuses and all of them were good. check the ecu is good can't think of anything else.
Please Someone help me OUT!!!! ASAP MY CAR IS STUCK.

did you reconnect your ground?

 

did you try a different battery? you may have fried it.

 

yes sure did. u sure because the battery still works like i can still turn on the lights

 

tried jumping it?

try another starter

 

then its a possibility u got a bad starter

Bad starter will cause No power to the CLuster?
i mean like when i turn the key to on position engine check light an srs an all that suppose to light up But there is nothing. my clock doesn't work windows dont work sunroof

 

you starter only cranks your motor...your cluster should still have power if your battery is good

 

yeah see, i dont have no power in the cluster. only the lights. i dont even hear my fuel pump

 

probally fried something
