Suddenly my car is making "pinging" noises. Its a 95 ls teg (everything stock), It has not being drive hard or anything like that. It sounds like when you use cheap gasoline. First I thought that was the problem, but after switching from 3 diff brands (high octane of course) I have discarded that option.
What could be the problem?

Where is the sound coming from? Front, center, rear?

 

Really cant tell you. It only sounds when you are running the car, usually past 3k Rpms
