p75 ECU is for the obd2b motor. You wont be able to run that one.

Stripped bolt? Drill it out.

thats not completely correct the p75 for the LS came in both OBD 2 and OBD 1 and if your can is an 94-95 LS your looking for P75 obd 1 and 96-01 its also but P75 obd 2. i can get more in detail about it but i think that all u needed to know.

If we really get down to it, the correct ECU for that motor would be a PR4.

You can try to find an OBD1 P75 from a 92-95 LS, or even a p28 vtec ecu would work.

My friend has seen significant gains in his 2000 obd1 converted LS with a p28 and basemap

can anyone else confirm that the p28 would work on a LS, seeing as how the p28 is a vtec ecu.

o...and just to be specific, if it came out of a 1991 LS, it would be a b18a1, as opposed to a b18b1.

And yes a p28 would work in an LS. My friend has had it for awhile, and has been running it with no problems since he bought it. He's getting ready to put on a b16 head, so thats why he originally got the p28. It has been powering his stock ls motor for more than a year, and runs great.

you should be ok with either a pr4, obd1 p75 or a p28. either will get the car up and running.

ITR is a dc2. RSX is DC5. And OP said the motor is a b1 for sure, even though it came from a DA he says it was swapped...
Depending on the year of the b1, it could be obd1 or 2.

Anything that has a basemap and is tuned will run bette.r get the P28 if you have plans later. If not a Pr4 or P75 will work fine.

Good call on the link. The stock ecu that came from my 2000 LS(B18B1) was a P75 OBD2, I'm selling the ecu if you need that specific one.
