I bought an unfinished b18b1 (95 integra) swapped 89 civic. I have everything put together now and I am having issues with the vacuum lines I think. I have a very high idle without a hose connected to the large nipple on the back of the intake manifold, but I'm not sure where it goes. I had it plugged into the nipple on the brake booster and it was lower but still high. This is what I have so far for lines.
It SHOULD be connected to the brake booster... do you have a check valve in the hose between the intake manifold and the brake booster ? To test and make sure that there aren't additional reasons for the high idle, place your finger over the large nipple in your photo (back of the intake manifold where you would normally connect the brake booster hose) while the engine is running... if everything else is proper, then the engine should idle down to a normal rpm... 1000 or less. If the idle is still high, you have another vacuum leak and you must begin to test for this.
