Hey guys...I managed to break something just now.
I have this noise that I'm trying to troubleshoot, so I took off my dist. to take a look at it and put some grease on the shaft. (The noise is a bearing noise, I think) Well, I put it back on and then proceeded to wash my under-hood area. I made sure to cover the fuse box, dist., air intake, and battery. After I was done washing it, I tried to start my car up and it won't start. It will attempt to turn over, but there seems to be no spark. I pulled one of the spark plugs, and sure enough...no spark. What did I do to it? Any clues?
Any help would be appreciated.

try it again today... If you did get water on anything you shouldn't have than it should be gone by now (I hope). What did you cover your distributor with? Do you hear your fuel pump ingauging when you turn the key to the on posistion?

Okay guys...here's an update.
I spent quite a bit of time last night troubleshooting it. I will hopefully fix it today.
When I pulled all my plugs out, it turned out that there was like an inch of fluid in each cylinder. I tasted some off the plug and I believe there was water in there. Granted, most was fuel, but there seems to have been water also. (I can't figure out how) So...I kept my plugs out and cranked the car for some time. This got most of the fluid out. It still wouldn't start. I decided to give it a rest and let it sit with the plugs out overnight.
I determined that I am indeed getting spark, unlike what I first thought.
One thing I considered is that I may have installed the distributor 180 degrees wrong. It is not supposed to be possible, but apparently it is, cuz I was able to. (Weird) This would have caused the plugs to be firing in the wrong order, and therefore make the cylinders flood. I didn't believe that it was possible to flood a Fuel Injected car, but then again, I'm special.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for all your ideas so far.

Oh ****!!! Guess what? I just pulled off my valve cover. I found that my intake cam seems to have slipped a whole quarter of a turn. My exhaust cam is set to TDC, but my intake cam is at the 3rd cylinder position...That's no good. I guess I have a little project ahead of me. I have never taken my timing belt off, but is this all I need to do? I just need to slip it off and put it on correctly again, right? Someone with timing belt / cam gear experience please help.
Thanks for everything.

Update:
I fixed everything. I pulled off my timing belt and put the intake cam back where it belongs. I put everything back together and it started right up. I still haven't driven it, but I let it idle for like 15 min, and it's fine. I'm very happy that's all that was wrong.
Thanks everyone for your help.

Damn, how in the hell did u get the dizzy on 180 degrees wrong and have the cam slip like that?
The dizzy is keyed so it's just physically impossible. Nice that you got it running again.
