Help guys picked up OBD1 engine harness for my 95 RS with B18C5 heart....
Basically what I know is its def OBD1 due to the three plugs that connect to another harness by the shock tower on the passenger side.
It seems to me that is already the VTEC Solenoid and VTEC Oil Pressure switch.
I did notice it is coming from a SOHC Motor due to the O2 Sensor being close to the front for the header bung.
My main question is are the pins on a CIVIC/DELSOL VTEC OBD1 Harness = LS/GS/RS/GSR harness other than diffrent sensors each may carry like GSR has IAB bla bla. Or are pinouts diffrent for each individual car?
Because technically I can throw this harness on my motor, extend O2 to header, Convert OBD1 Injector Clips to OBD2, Convert OBD1 Alternator Plug to OBD2 and use a brand new OBD1 GSR Dizzy I have. After this everything should work except VTEC Solenoid and VTEC Oil Pressure switch because the Harness on the Shock Tower isnt pinned for VTEC due to the car being a RS base??
The only reason I think otherwise of this is because my friend swapped his H22 Turbo motor from his EG DX (NON VTEC) with EX harness over to his virgin NON VTEC Del Sol plugged up everything and VTEC works...
Correct correct??????????
YES I SEARCHED BUT I DIDNT GET THE ANSWER I NEEDED!!!

Look at the service manual and see if the wires are there on the chasis harness.

Okay so I spoke to my tuner who is very very knowledgeable some of you man know him Sal from Glen Burnie, great tuner fabricator bla.
Well to answer my questions in case anyone else will ever need this thread.
Every DC, EG, EH other than 92 EH/EG where not made with VTEC pinouts. So I would and will have to wire vtec to the ecu pins. Including knock.
Next is yes all pins are the same one the shock tower harness just the 92s with non vtec were pinned with vtec.
So yes I can use the SOHC harness all need to do is wire VTEC Solenoid and Oil Pressure. Awesome!
Thanks HT
