HELP DB8 wont start
Ok so i just get the car back. drive it home and park it for a couple of hours go back out later that night and the car wont start. The starter doesnt even click, i dont hear the fuel pump priming, interior clock wont come on, windshield wipers wont move. Radio still plays, Headlights are bright. Jumping the car didnt do anything, new main relay, ECU seems to be ok. What am i over looking
I really dont see how it could be a timing belt. since the car doesnt even crank over. I thought maybe all of those eletrical pieces might have a common power source, fuse or relay, but i cant get a hold of a haynes till later tonight
my girlfriend had this problem with her celica a while ago. we went inside to watch the sopranos came out and her car wouldnt start/crank. lights were on radio etc...turned out to be the t-belt...i dont know just trying to help based on past experience.

the reason why i say it could be the distributor or coil is because it happend to me one time, i was driving and my car died all of a sudden, it was not the battery, some people told me it was my motor and that it was blown, WTF
i knew that wasn't the problem and so my dad checked my car and he doesn't even know much about hondas told me could be my distributor or coil and so i got a new coil and he was right, my car started running normal again

none of those symptoms have anything to do with the coil, as the coil only provides spark....he is not even getting power to the coil
the ignition switch is a multi-function switch that transmits power to numerous components upon start-up....if a few of these contacts inside the switch are deteriorated, the power to components will not transfer, as in the case he is having
