HELP: check engine o2 sensor
heres my problem i have obd2 jdm gsr swap in a '00 gsr chasis.. using the usdm harness and usdm ecu.. my cars throwing the o2 sensor code.. changed both o2s and the check engine lights still on.. throwing the same code.. what might be my problem?
ok this is not the answer to your problem, but its a sugestion if your an enviornentalist freak... just get a o2 sensor defuser, unscrew the sencor put this cylinder looking thing in it, so the sencor in not all the way in the pipe.. there fore it reads the carbon but not enough to give a code... u might want to do a lil bit more research with it, by buddy did it on his s2k and took off the cap..= more ooph

you reset the ecu after changing the sensors, right? if not, do that.

Does it turn on immediately? If so, you have some issues with your wiring. It sounds to me like your ECU isn't recognizing that your sensors are there or hooked up.
what is the code? there at least 2 o2 sensors. did you have any other codes? cause they could be causing the o2 sensor to read to much air and that is why they through a CEL. check your codes and start with the lowest one and work your way up. it is a problem that is causing your car to go lean that is why your o2 sensors are saying what the fuQ? and throwing a code.
