HELP WITH B20 BUILD
im currently running a jdm b20b motor on my integra with ls tranny...it has bored TB, 4-2-1 headers, 2 1/4 piping, intake, and this is my daily driver...i have a s2k in my garage that i use for the weekend ( all stock ), question is, i wanna go little faster...( i hate when they pull up next to me and they running gs-r, b16, and i keep up with them)...what else can i put in my b20 to go faster without vtec head??? thanks
im sorry i forgot to mention that if you put a gsr tranny in there you will be a lot faster. it a little bit shoreter gers and a different final drive then the ls tranny you have. i would say swap that first that would give you the best gain for you buck.
If it it's just your daily beater I say do a tranny swap.. Either gsr or b16 or if you really had extra cash to spend, 98' spec type-r tranny cause it has lsd with a 4.7 final drive.. Anyway, any one of these trannys would be better than an ls tranny cause the gears are so wide on the ls.. If you still want a lil more cheap power I say tranny swap and squeeze a 40 shot.. Maybe not the cleanest way to go but hey, you have an s2k anyway...

For cheap tuning theres always the safc way.

you have a b20 motor right.....you dont have a b16 or gsr head on your block! so you cant use gsr cams at all unless you "swap the head for a vtec head".
get the b16 tranny
