what engine is in the 93 gsr i thought it was the b17 and alot of ppl are tryin to ttell me that the b17 is sohc and mines dohc and there triny to tell me i have a b18 now soo im confused soo can anyone help?

yes the b17a1 is a dohc. has 160hp and 117tq stock.

Show your friends the B17A1 stamp on the left corner of the block, can't miss it.

Then show them the VTEC solenoid at the end of the exhaust cam. Your distributor is on the intake cam, and the VTEC solenoid is at the end of the exhaust cam. If it didn't have a VTEC solenoid, it would just have a cam end plug/seal like the Non VTEC engines.
