I have a 2001 Gsr. I bought the car used with 63,000. The car is @ 77,000. My car burns alot of oil only when i go on it. It bogs out in Vtec and feels like it does not pull. I also have a black residue on my rear bumper around my exhaust. I want to get my car fixed but i do not know what is wrong. I did a Leak down test and i had 13% leakage in cylinder 23% in 2, 13% in 3, and 12% in 4. Any ideas of what can be wrong with my car. What good shops are in Illinois or the chigago land area. Thanks

You posted leak down test results, not compression test results. It sounds like your are burning oil. I vote for piston rings with the limited data available. What is done to the car?

 

sorry i ment leakdown. i had i/h/e test pipe and short throw but i have all the stock parts on now for the time being until i get my car fixed
