help
for some reason when i first start my car i will get oil pressure and everything will be ok , after a few minutes of idle , my oil light starts to blink , i look at my dipstick and its purely dry *** hell , i mean dry , i took off the valve cover and there is oil going to the head , i have no clue wat it is , after the motor cools off then my oil level is back to normal , wat do u think it may be , i know it cant be the oil pump , maybe i have a clog somewhere , oil pick up , im clueless need help .
the funny thing is that when i start the car up eerything is fine after a while the oil in the block just plain and simply dissapears , out of no where its gone , bottom of block gets dry , i was thinking it was my oil pick up , i took off the valvecover and there was oil up top , my motor only has 22k miles , i had just finished my swap , this started happening ill say like 2 weeks after i got it started up , my oil light the starts to blink , when i shut the car off and restart it the oil light comes off again

It appears to me that the headers may be loose! Check them if not check engine displacement! If everything seems fine make sure ure oil cap is on not so tight to where it is striping metal-.-. This could be the problem. If this does not work try going under the steering wheel to the right and there is a button to reset ECU try it it could be many possible things! Im not really certain try taking the tegra in for check up and inspection!
When your engine is running, oil is being pumped from the pan thru the engine, that is why the level in the pan is lowered. Then after it sits, the oil returns to the pan and the level on the dipstick is raised again.
If I were you, I would have my oil pressure tested. A remote gauge is installed where the oil pressure sending unit is on the back of the block. This will determine whether your pressure is good and constant thru various rpms. Or simply install your own gauge that you can read in your dash.
The ICU -- Integrated Control Unit controls some functions of the oil warning light and can give false readings. Mine was coming on, so I simply installed a manual oil pressure gauge to confirm that my pressure was good, and it is perfect.
Almost all of my ICU functions have failed, including interm. wipers, beepers, rear window defroster timer, and the function of some marker lights. Good luck.
