Rule of thumb is to always replace the gaskets where there is one when you replace parts like that.

I did a search and found out people re-use the gaskets.

I may do so as well depending on the condition after i take mine off.

My greddy headers arrived after being backordered for 3 weeks.
Just have to wait till the weekend to get this installed.

gasket does not NEED to be replaced, but if you have a high mileage car it is a very good idea to do so.

if you are looking for a direct bolt on header, then yes, they are year dependant.

When I put in my Comptech 4-2-1, I reused the gasket at the head, but replaced the donut gasket.

I think there is a difference between those years. I bought a DC sports header for a 98LS a couple of months ago and I've noticed the same thing, said 94-99 on the box. By the way, the gasket isn't that expensive, $8.

94-99 is shorter length than the 00-01...the header gasket should be okay to reuse unless your car has a lot of miles on it, the donut gasket needs to be replaced though, i picked one up from honda for 10 bucks
