Default Headers 02 Sensor Integra

this week i got my Dc headers installed 4-1 . After driving for like 5 minutes my ECL went on
Went to autozone to check in and it said its my headers 02 sensor.
Question is will something happen to my car if i keep on driving it like that and how do u connect the 02 sensor on the headers since it doesnt have a 02 bung. Thanks

go to ur local exhaust shop tell then u need a o2 sensor bung welded in... show them the stock header and have them out it in around the same place

good luck should be reasonably cheap

It certainly isn't very good for it, or your wallet. You'll be constantly running on the open loop ECU maps and using excess fuel.

Yeah, you'll just be running pretty rich because of the lack of an O2 sensor.

First of all figure out what the hell your doing with a 2nd header. Headers gets reallys annoyings reallys quicks hows woulds yous likes its ifs is adds as ss tos everythings.

If the shop wont weld one on for you I think your choices are OBVIOUS. You need a 02 sensor, if one shop wont do it try another if that doesnt work stop buying headers off ebay and get a real one that will come with the o2 bung. Would you like me to spoon feed you a new header? Holly **** i swear people are retarded.

The O2 bung should be in the CAT. BOTH O2 bungs are in the cat for the 98 GSR, I believe. That's how it is on my 99.

OP: you need that primary sensor. It is the leading control of closed loop fuel maps. Your gas mileage will suck without it. So will your emissions output.

The O2 sensor screws into the front bung on the cat (closest to the header).

There isnt an O2 bung in the "short" header used on the 98+ GSRs.

The O2 sensor should have never been unscrewed from the cat. Either they damaged a wire or something, or they screwed it up. Take it back there and demand they fix it.
