Default Header Tech Header

Ok guys i know someone who has a header tech header on his type r and i was wonderfing how those headers are? if anyone has one? i was thinking of picking it up from him... it has a 3" collector which seems huge but maybe im wrong.

it is for my gsr but my car has jdm type r pistons bigger cam so it would need a better header. i have a jdm type r header on there right now.

I have one on my LS-Vtec Civic. We made 220 WHP on a baseline run before we blew the clutch. I plan on tearing down the Civic and putting what I can on my Teg to include the header.

I'm not sure what the HT header contributed to making that power but i like it and I will be running on my daily driver soon.

I can't see there being that much of a difference to tell you the truth, minimal if any.

If you can get the HT header for less, I would take it.

since its a staggered design underneath so the tubes are stacked on top of each other, i have a nrg crossmember and i was wondering if you new the best way possible to make that fit or if it will fit with that header?

header tech makes a good header. The 3" collector is abnormally sized, but they did testing and thats what made the most power for them....as I recall they have stopped making headers for the integra now. Either way, there are a few header test that compare the header tech to others.

it is a 2000 type r and a 95 gsr... so i mean i was going to get a rage header and that was a different lenght as opposted to my jdm type r header.

basically i was just wondering if the rage header was better then the headertech or not? i heard the rage is basically supposted to be the same as a hytech.

umm it will be too long for your set up, the gsr header is shorter then a 2000 type R header, if u had an 2000-01 GSR it would hook stragiht up.. just FYI

a 3'' collector seems a little overkill on such a mild setup. the gains would mostly be seen on the top end.
