Header Suggestions?
I have a 2001 Acura Integra GS with i/e. I am lookin for a 4-2-1 header . Would the DC Sport JDM header hurt me over the reg. dc sport header. I heard somewhere that it wcould only help in from around 6k to 7k. I was wonderin if this myth is true. Or just go powercore.
I want to get that DC JDM style header as well. But I or should I say we have to get a different cat. One with a 2.5 inch opening. Oh well, I think that it is worth it.
how much money joo want to spend??oops didnt read the post...bang 4 the buck get the jdm dc 4-1...or just the jdm 4-1

Well, a complete exhaust system is a modified header, catalytic converter, and cat-back exhaust. For maximum performance from your header and exhaust, you wouldn't want to bottleneck the exhaust flow velocity with the stock cat. Carsound cats seem to clear that problem right up.
As for the header it depends on your power goals. Are you looking for peak whp, a broad power band, etc.? DC makes good quality headers for the price but if you're looking for all out performance, they I'd go Hytech. Its pricey but you won't be dissappointed.
Also, when you're out buying a header, make sure you know the diameter, wall thickness, and crush or mandrel bent.
