This is my Comptech tig welded 4-2-1 header on my 94 GSR. As you can tell it sits up pretty high. The front splash shield even hangs lower.

Hum... thumbs up on the comptech tig, any other headers out there, how does it compare to jdm 4-1 with the comptech? i was planning to get spoon or hytech or something save up, but i'm worried that they'll hand low

Most 4-1's hang low, better to go 4-2-1 for ground clearance issues

I had a Toda 4-2-1 header and I never scrapped once. My GSR is dumped too.

If you're talking about the 4-2-1 Comptech header, then yes, it'll pass smog. I just passed smog with my Tig version on.

I've got a DC stainless 4-2-1 one piece. No problems or dents. Plenty of clearance.
