Default Header Question????????

I am researching Headers trying to decide which one I want to get. I was looking on the web site importhorizon.com and I saw that DC Sports has a 4-1, 4-2-1 (one piece), and 4-2-1 (two piece). I figure that the two piece makes for better install but what is the difference between 4-1 and 4-2-1 and which is better????

Also I thought I saw something about getting a 20% discount with a company for being a H/T member is this true????? If so how do I get it?????

The header depends on where you want your power. Pretty much as a rule of thumb a 4:1 header will give you better top end, and a 4:2:1 will give you more torque or bottom end. Now when I put on my JDM ITR 4:1 headers I lost an a$$ load of my torque(as expected), BUT I am now able to pull hard all the way to 8000. Before the headers my car actually felt strong on the bottom end and wouldn't really pull past 7000. Depends on what your combination is going to consist of and what kind of racing you plan on doing... I'm setting up for the Toda B's which I will be doing in two months..YOU HAVE TO THINK and PLAN AHEAD.

Try a search on the topic before you start a new thread. Ususally the question has been answered about 100 times and you'll get a lot more opinions then if you just start a new topic.

Take a look at some results from "The Great Header Test!"

Good luck,

1-piece supposedly have a bit more power than 2-piece, but I'd venture to say that
2-piece = one more gasket to have a problem (leak) with.
