Definitely go with a JDM Header unless you plan on going Turbo in the future. The exhaust like someone said will do little gains. But I would recommend going with a JDM Header, then a nice flowing exhaust. From there you'll be quicker than average and then go with either Cams or rims if that's what you want. But ultimately, what everyone here says shouldn't matter, do what makes you happy.

Lol, go with your Exhaust first, don't get the JDM 4:1 till your prepared to get a custom fitment, ie. Caround Cat., Test Pipe. The JDM 4:1 won't fit stock GSR catalytic converters and exhaust. Go with the Apexi, and do a header and Cat package later on. The exhaust looks and sounds good, the JDM header won't considering it will be laying on the ground and not installed in your car without a a couple hundred more. Just my $.02.

how about spending your $400 on tires or suspension.. or do you have those done already? are you still rolling on the stock Michelins? those are horrible (IMO)... i would get new tires..

i'm gonna switch over my suspension set up from my old civic to my teg. i have some groundcontrols with agx's. and some kuhmo 712 on some 97 web rims i'm gonna switch the tires over. i thought that the jdm 4-1 was a bolt on for the gsr? doesn't dc make one for the gsr? or is it just for the itr and only fit after it has been modded to fit?
