there's really no market for stronger header studs. either go buy another oem one, or go to any hardware store and get another stud or a bolt. doesn't really matter.

just a coincidence. i think it's because you have the most room to tighten with that bolt being that nothing is in the way, making it easy to overtighten. the space you have for all the others is a little more restrictive.

i did use a torque wrench on the bolts
but after i had installed it i went for a
drive then came back and checked all
the bolts with the wrench but as soon
as i put the wrench to it it just broke

well if you have enough thread (doesn't sound like you do) you can take two nuts on 1st one upside-down then the other normal then tighten them agenst eachother then you can loosen it however if all of you threads are gone then I would take it to my machine shop (CWPence) and have them do it (prob. drill it out).

i noticed my buddy who has a 2001 gsr has two bolts instead of studs for each side. His car doesn't have any mods on his car and he bought it from the dealership with it
ARP does make longer studs...

The stock stud is 37mm long. However a set of 10 ARP studs is like $80.
