since everyone is talking about head gasket, i think i need a new head gasket as well, because my oil seems to leak around that area. or above the distributor. and honda in nz said i need to replace the seel or gasket or some ****, honda ppl recond they are almost industratble

 

The head gasket is well below the distributor. Do you think maybe it's leaking from the valve-cover gasket or cam seal? That would be a lot less complicated...

 

its probably your valve cover seals or the circle seal on the head facing the distributor n not the head gasket.

 

do what the posters said above first.
changing a valve cover seal or cam seal is a lot easier than ripping the whole head apart.. and only to find out at the end, it was not the head gasket
