hey guys i need some help ...... i broke a ...well ok 3 vavles .. should i get a new head or rebuild this one? I had to drive it home after i did it (2.5 miles) so i dont know if the rest of the motor is ok.... i want to just rebuild it ... but if i do whta kind of parts can i get ???? i have some friends that used the new ZEX parts to do theires and some that used ferra ???? what are my options ... alos i dont want to kill my wallet ya know.... im a baller on a buget ..... o-yea forgot its a 2000 gsr ...

 

Sorry I can't help you I don't know that much about that kind of stuff (yet), But I had to ask how the heck did you do that? NOS?

 

Do you mean you bent valves or do you mean broke. If you broke valves, your engine would be done. How do you know you have 3 damaged valves?

You have to asses the situation before you decide what you want to do. For instance, the seats may still be good and all you need to do is get new valves. Valves cost about $20 a piece. So in that case...........

 

Pull the head and send it ot Alinz. Get the OE package.

Did your timing belt snap? Have you pulled it apart? Are any of the valves stuck in the pistons?
