The other day I was driving and I got stuck at a light when my gear could not get into first or second so I turned the car off and on and it worked the next morning driving to work I drive 10 miles a away and it gets stuck again and this time it wouldnt go in got it towed to my house later that day and it could shift again I asked around and people say its either the clutch or the transmission I drive a 1995 GSR basically stock and I wanted to know whether my transmission is cable or hydraulic and what is my problem and how to fix it.

Your clust is a hydrualic system. You would know if it was the slave or clutch master cylinder went out because you would have NO clutch pedal. Can you shift into any other gears besides 1/2? I would put money on it being the syncronizers. You could try putting some new fluid in the transmission and seeing if it gets a couple more thousand miles..
