Harmonic balencer
I have a 1994 integra with a b16a2 swap and the last owner put a tone of random parts that I have been trying to clean up and I’m trying to replace the harmonic balencer but I cannot find any harmonic balencer that is the same, I baught a balencer for it that was supposed to fit but the crank was way too big for it and now I can’t find one that will fit, does anyone have suggestions on what I should look for or if there’s anything I’m missing

Re: Harmonic balencer
When you say "way too big", what do you mean exactly ? Does it fit on the snout of the crankshaft OK ? Are you referring to the overall diameters of each groove on the pulley being larger than what you currently have ?

Re: Harmonic balencer
The diameter of the mounting hole on the harmonic balancer is too small and it won’t fit on the crankshaft, it was supposed to be for the b16a2 and seems to be the same as everyone I look up

Re: Harmonic balencer
I don't know where you are looking, but you got it wrong. The only application that would have a smaller diameter mounting hole for the crankshaft snout would be a "D" series engine. The crank pulleys may look similar, but they will NOT be the same... and you have found out why. Where are you looking for pulleys ?

Re: Harmonic balencer
Ahhh so the only other small crank would be a d series, and I was looking on a few different websites I order the one that didn’t fit from car parts.com and it said it’s supposed to fit all the vehicles that have the b16a2 but the mounting hole was significantly smaller and would not fit on the crank, so I looked around a lot more and the only ones I could find where ones that looked about the same as I bought but I just ordered one from advanced auto for a 1997 del-sol so hopefully it will work

Thank you so much, i didn’t know that at all I did order it for the vtec and it specifically said b16a2 so hopefully it should work, but if it doesn’t and it’s still too small what does that mean

Re: Harmonic balencer
I went looking at various resellers of the same junk. They all list the same P26 part number for the D series even when selecting the B series engine that should be a P30 part number. Sorry P2T for the 97.
Maybe hunt down a pulley off an Interga? Another expert around here should know the finer details of what swaps. The Honda part number seems to be shared with the 99-00 Civic SI with the B16.

Yea it jus doesn’t make sense most balencers should work for it but for some reason one I order has a mounting diameter of .94 and my crank has a diameter of around 1.2”, I think my best bet is to just go to a junkyard and see if I can find one that works

Re: Harmonic balencer
Here are a few OE applications followed by part numbers. If there is an asterisk at the end, it means that the part number is discontinued and you cannot purchase this pulley new from Honda/Acura.
'99-00 Civic Si (and '96-97 Del Sol VTEC) -13810-P2T-003 *
'94-95 Del Sol VTEC - 13810-P30-003 *
NOTE: The two parts listed above would be a direct replacement for what should have been on your B16A2 engine from the factory, so none of your current belt sizes would change if you found either of these. The part numbers listed below will all have larger or smaller pulley diameters (indicated) compared to those above, so some/all accessory belts may have to be changed to accommodate the pulley you select if you choose one of the following:
'97-01 Integra Type R - 13810-P73-J01 * (Smaller diameter)
'94-01 Integra GSR - 13810-P72-013 * (Larger diameter)
'94-01 Integra LS/RS/GS - 13810-P75-013 * (Even Larger diameter)

If you are willing to accept a used one, PM me. If you want to continue to find a NEW replacement product, maybe being armed with the OE part numbers will help guide you to the correct product... you WILL have to do the work to buy from box store retailers like Advance Auto Parts.
