I just emailed him not to see if hr ships to Canada, but I noticed this on his site:

NOTE: VOLUME DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE, RESELLER INQUIRIES ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

If this stuff is good, it might be nice to do a group buy.

They are made by Hella Are these supposed to be good? Seems like everyone has Philips....

I'd love to get a 9006 7000k set, would look just like my fathers TL, and they're so nice!

Notice, he never said who produced the bulb. The ballasts are Hella.

That's true. How much are bulbs? Who generally makes them?

Hella makes the Phillips ballasts. If you open any Phillips ballast you will see it is made by Hella I am told.

It's funny the 7000k bulb setup he has looks like the 6000k Ultinon, and his 6000k setup looks NOTHING like the utinons in the pics!

what's the warrenty?
From his site: "Standard warranty: Defects in workmanship and materials will be warranted for a period of 90 (ninety) days from original purchase date for bulbs, one year for ballasts. Replacement parts waranteed for 90 (ninety) days from original date of purchase. Full warranty details available upon request.

Extended warranties from eighteen months to four years available! "

However, I still have yet to received an email response from him. Has anyone else tried emailing him and actually gotten a reply? Better yet, if anyone has his number or an address, I would personally go over and check out the merchandise. From his eBay auctions, I believe he's lives in the same town as I do.

I would recommend getting the 5200K bulbs, most light output

Buying HID for the color

it says right there on the site the 7000K puts out 2800 lumens, vs. 3200 for the 5200K. The higher the color temp, the more color tint there is on the capsule, and the less lumens it will put to the ground. Period.

Nobody is doubting the the lower the kelvin the more lumens will be put out... its just that if someone does like the cool color look, they WILL still be MUCH brighter then halogens... just depends if you are willing to sacrifice a LITTLE bit of brightness. I have seen both kits (4100/6000) and they both look extremely bright.

His site does kind of have a homey feel to it. Not real professional looking, but hey I remember when eBay looked like a dump too.

The kits "look" good from what I can see. And, Hella is comparable to Philips.
