Default Guage Question

Ever since I got my car I felt my guages were off. I bumped into the previouse owner and he said that they were and he forgot to tell me Anyway, it seems that it is off by about 10-15mph, is there a way I can fix this? They are aftermarket indiglo guages. Seems it has a LS guage because the redline is well before 8000+, but I have a type-r engine, so I might just get new ones. Also, does this neccessarily mean that my rpm guage is off? Is there a way of fixing this? Any advice would be nice.

So what im getting from this is you have an LS gauge cluster and a type R engine? And your wondering why the speed-o is off?
