gsr value vs. Si value
so I was comparing my friends 2000 si "value" vs. my 2001 gsr "val;ue on edmunds.com
I first checked the Civic (Outstading cond-48000 miles) = 14701 (private)
then my gsr (outstanding cond-38000 miles) = 13922 (private)
i was kinda surprised because my car is one year newer and cost about 5000$ more when bought brand new--
So I went to kbb.com and found
Excellent cond-Si (48000) = 13500$
Excellent cond-gsr (38000)= 14850$
Is edmunds just wrong or is kbb more accurate or maybe the civic Si's just have more demand?

I would assume you could get more for the gsr, also like said about supply and demand, if someone wants your car they will buy it for as much as they have
Hands down the GSR wins. As for value, when I was in the market for a new car last year, I found SI's with 20kish miles for about $14k.
Copped my 97' GSR for $9800 with 71k miles...I love her

gsr vs. base rsx?? no chance for rsx
The type-s is would be much better of a comparison and race--but the torque of the type-s is a little to much for gsr

yea, i remember when i was looking for a car.. I saw most of the Si's were $13k+ , while the gsr's were under $10k.. why the hell do they price the si's so much? Isn't msrp for the Si's like $17k? and Gsr's $24k?

can anyone confirm?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yep. The Si's keep their value alot longer because they're limited, like the Type-R's. This is what I heard from a friend who works at Honda.
