Had the car for maybe 2 months now, never really drove it cuz I needed to update the car. Previous owner had it sitting for almost 2 yrs. It was running well, no problems. This morning had problems starting up. I had to keep gas on the pedal when I started it to keep it on, didn't make much smoke but did a little from the muffler. Checked the oil dipstick no water in it.

Car ran rough and after a while it stayed at a normal rev. Soon after driving it died on me. Hoping not a engine problem -_-

Car is boosted.

Any ideas? Fuel pump maybe?

Hoping not a blown head, will Check when I get home from work.

 

Doesn't sound like a mechanical engine problem. It's either electrical, or fuel related.

 

I've heard main relays go bad? It was running cherry yesterday.

 

Does the ecu need to be grounded?
