idle fluctuation is usually a result of either a clogged/dirty IACV or FITV, or both. There are a couple of DIY threads in this forum on how to clean them. A quick search should turn them up.

car is out of tune, on hondata with 370cc injectors and it seems as if the igniter is on its way out as well. car is also on a big set of cams trying to be idled low which it does not like.

he is going to bring the car over on sunday so I can check it out, but, I think the end results will be tuning is required.

the spot where the "pudder" accrues could mean its to rich/lean (in that spot on the map) or that it needs timing in that area of the map, but, if the igniter is going south it could be doing funky stuff and cause it to run weird at times but not others.

did the problem already exist before u added on the msd ignition? maybe u should try and run the car without the msd igniton and see if the problem still exist. and also make sure your using the right spark plugs for your car cuz one time i used the wrong spark plugs and my car also made backfiring noise
