GSR engine noise troubleshooting knocking
I noticed on my engine that I had rebuilt less than two thousand miles ago it's seeping oil

Clean up the oil and let it run keep checking for a leak. The cam seal is common on the exhaust side behind the vtec solenoid. As for noise recheck your valve clearance. That's where I would start. Its nice to see someone doing forced induction on a high comp engine.
what are the possibilities the technician said the valve could be bent or I could have a floated valve or valve thats not seating well are these the only possibilities that could be causing the head to continue to tick though it's not as loud as it was I know the head has to come off and be repaired in the near future. I've been through a nightmare with this car unfortunately. To answer the previous question I am really glad the compression ratio was not lowered. If your not planning on running a tremendous amount of boost it seems to maximize the power. I'm running the street kit from jrsc and a good friend of mine has his built too the same specs except he has the lower compression CP and his power isn't as good though I suspect he will surpass me when he raises the boost pressure it wasn't my intention too run a high boost car. I wanted something that was to type R specs just with a little added kick. Is there even the slightest chance that the valve might stop ticking.
