Ground control spring rate question
is 250 lbs/in front and 200 lbs/in rear ground controls too soft for an integra? I need the softest spring rates i can buy for my teg. i just need a soft ride. If not, what's the softest ground control spring rate i can buy?
The rates that GC gives you are for the street , and soft enough, unless specified otherwise. If you want soft, I wouldn't recommend coilovers because they use linear rate springs. Go for some lowering springs, like Eibach Prolines, they have progressive rates. HTH
<----has 400 front and 500 rear....with major jumping out of the seats (the coilover seats) and my seat...but deals because you cant beat the handling
Those rates seem really low to me. I got 380f 400r on mine with the koni yellows, and it rides really nice. Its not as soft as stock but its not harsh either. I haven't heard of anyone lowering their car and still having stock ride comfort. It wouldn't hurt to call GC & ask their opinion. I thought there were very helpful & friendly.

Eibach Pro Kit is progressive rate. The rates are approx. F330-350/R150-190. Very smooth ride.

GC set me up with 325F and 250R. The rears were longer (i think 9").
I rides good as long as your on smooth roads. When I'm on bumpy roads you can REALLY feel every bump. The handling is great!!!
Oh yeah, I have Tokico adjustables FYI.

don't waste the money on ground controls if you're aiming for a soft ride. aside from stock springs, I'd go for H&R OE or H&R sports like i have. if you care about performance...get some good shocks too..koni!
