i just bought a b18b1 with 75k miles on it. doesnt come with headers, IM and TB. im going to be using my spare engine for the parts i need. all i need to do is:

1) bolt on the tranny
2) bolt on the IM
3) bolt on the headers

am i missing anything? should i be worrying about sensors? please somebody help me.

 

o2 sensor, make sure all the sensors are on the block. and do some easy maintanence of thermostat, check the barings in the engine, the cylinders, head, valves, rod's, put in new oil filter, check injector's to make sure there not gunked over.

and i think you should be good. i know i've missed alot of stuff but if you wanna go to this extent to check everything, i would if i were you. just to give me a peice of mind.

 

and are these all peices you are going to buy for that engine, or do you already have them from another engine and just goin to swap them on? make sure to have your motor mounts too
