Goofy A/C problem....
I recently had my A/C recharged in my 97 LS. It works great now. Prior to the recharge, the A/C would have the typical drip underneath the car but NEVER in the car. Now that it has been recharged, when I turn corners it comes out of the floor heater vent and very little outside the car dip hose. I checked the hose to make certain the hose is still plugged in and not clogged and it is fine. No holes either. When I say leak , I mean TORRENT !!! It gets all over my foot and floorboard on either side. I have no idea what more to be looking for or do. Anybody else have this kind of experience ? Any ideas please !!! Thanks.
i'd still think its a clog in your A/C drain hose/line... try blowing some compressed air in it.. or stick a fuzzy pipe cleaner in it and see if any leaves, dirt, road debris or anything comes out and it clears... also double check the lines/connections... does the liquid smell? like coolant or anything? I seem to recall that someone said a leaking heater core or something would also cause this problem and smell too...
